Grabprinting’s TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.

All items in are all pre ordered items

  1. Artwork File Preparation / Transfer
    1. Please make sure the art work you submitting are :
      1. Colour;
        1. In CMYK colour mode
          1. Why commercial printers use CMYK (Adobe illustrator) and not RGB (Words, paint, powerpoint and etc) ? (Article)
          2. Convert RBG to CMYK (Video)
          3. Select CMYK in Adobe illustrator (Video)
        2. Always refer to our CMYK colour reference kit to reduce colour inaccuracies in your printing.
          1. not depend entirely on the colour displayed on your monitor or screen as printed colour of end product may differ from what appears on screen.
        3. Avoid Setting colour tints (toning) lower than 10%
          1. Lighter shades usually print much lighter than they appear on screen and you may be disappointed with the outcome.
        4. DO NOT set black colour to (C=100, M=100, Y=100 and K=100)
          1. Too much ink coverage may cause dirty printing such as sheet sticking together or causes text or image to look blur
          2. Ideal setting for black colour
            1. C=40, M=30, Y=30 and K=100
            2. C=40, M=0, Y=0 and K=100
        5. CMYK must not be more than 240%
        6. In order to make your toning/tint clearer, make sure value of the same colour must be different of more than 10%

        3. DO NOT manipulate your images using a layout program
          1. You are advised to use Adobe Adobe illustrator to manipulate your images
      3. Texts;
        1. Min font size 4pts – Min font size for Adobe illustrator. (Article)
          1. When you are working on white background with Black text and line, you must use only K100 only
            1. Setting solid black in Adobe illustrator?
          2. Reverse printing (white text on coloured background made up of a combination of 2 or more CMYK colour value)
            1. All wordings that consist font size less than 5 and without BOLD, must add outline to reduce the wording blurry problem
          3. Front types that have thin lines

          5. White text on a coloured or black background
        2. Layout Program
          1. Curve / Create Outline / Path all the fonts before you convert your artwork file to PDF file format

          2. For Adobe Adobe illustrator; Set resolution to or above 300dpi and Rasterise type before you save as PDF file format.
            1. We advise against setting text using Adobe illustrator as the text will not be nearly as clear as setting text in a layout program
    2. All artworks should be saved into individual files and according to each order.
    3. All artworks can be submitted via Grabprinting or 3rd party website such as Wetransfer or Google Drive.
    4. Due to the different colour displays on various monitors, printed colour of end product may differ from what appears on screen. Therefore Grabprinting will not be responsible for colour discrepancies in the end product as a result of customer’s reliance on the said colour displays instead of Grabprinting’s CMYK Colour Reference manual to set his/her colours for output.
    5. Grabprinting uses international colour measurement standards (densitor) and has a process colour combination tolerance of ± 0.10 density. While we do not guarantee exact colour match of your artwork or reprints.
    6. To avoid delays or inconveniences, Customers are advised to check that their artworks comply with all Grabprinting standard specifications, setting and format.
    7. Unless otherwise stated or informed, Customers are required to make the necessary corrections to the errors on their artwork file as reported. Grabprinting will not accept responsibility for any consequences that may arise as the result of customer’s failure to make the necessary corrections before output.
    8. In the event Grabprinting detects that customer’s submitted artwork for printing does not comply with Grabprinting artwork setting standards:
      1. If Customer insists on proceeding to print without making recommended corrections highlighted by our Customer service, Customer does so at his/her risk. Grabprinting cannot be held responsible for outcome of printout.
    9. If a Customer makes an error while placing his/her order, for example: accidentally submitting the same order twice, that Customer must email to inform Grabprinting Customer Service at immediately. Grabprinting will not be responsible for any consequences arising from that customer’s failure to inform customer service immediately.
    10. Grabprinting will not be liable, in case that the content of the uploaded files had text editing problems, names, phone numbers, spelling mistakes or other items that compose the art, and do not follow the quality guidelines suggested on the WEBSITE for a perfect production.
    11. Artwork sent must be in a single layout.
    12. No changes can be made to the artwork once submitted to Grabprinting for printing.
    13. Customers are required to resend artwork for every repeat order.
    14. Grabprinting is not responsible for customer’s copyright infringement of artwork content.
    15. Grabprinting will not print jobs that contain offensive literature or images.
    16. Please do not choose overprint as the colour of the final artwork. It may be different from the artwork design.
    17. Grabprinting only accept Artwork format such as Adobe Illustrator (ai), PDF, JPG, TIFF. We do not advise Grabprinting’s customer upload a CoralDraw (cdr)file, or the PDF file create by the cdr. Because some time the different version of the software may create the different outcome for the printing result. Grabprinting customers must save the CDR file into JPG format. If the Grabprinting customers still upload CoralDraw (cdr) format or the PDF file create by CDR, Grabprinting will assume the customer is willing to bear the risk of printing, and Grabprinting staff will not give additional notice, Grabprinting will not make compensation in this case.

  2. Ordering / Operations
    1. All orders must be submitted online.
    2. We will process the order only when full payment is made and artwork file is correct
    3. Once a customer submits an order to Grabprinting, it is considered a purchase. Once an order is in process stage (after filtering/file checking stage) it cannot be cancelled or changed.
    4. Grabprinting will not provide colour proofing or proofreading services.
    5. Grabprinting shall take legal action to prosecute any customer whom we suspect of making fraud deposits/payments to us.
    6. Any cancellation before order is processing, the amount will be credit to the user’s wallet.
    7. Order after 1pm is consider as next working day order. Order meaning payment and artwork with no issues.
    8. If order is made before 1pm and there are issues and new artwork is not sent to us before 1pm, we will consider as next working day order.

  3. Payment
    1. Payment by debit card/credit
    2. Purchases are not refundable
    3. Full payment before printing
    4. Credits in account’s wallet cannot be withdraw as cash.

  4. Pricing / Delivery
    1. Grabprinting is not responsible for any losses or damages thru delivery by courier company
    2. Grabprinting is not responsible for any late delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.
    3. All goods will be deliver to customer’s billing address otherwise stated
    4. Deliveries provided are only to lift level offices or homes
      1. Grabprinting is not responsible if the courier refuse or charge extra courier fee if shipping address is not at lift level
    5. Any delivery not collected at the courier’s office and if the courier send it back to us, handling charges and shipping charges will be required before we send it out again

  5. General Expectation on Printing Outcome
    1. Colour reproduction or accuracy is generally subject to the limitations of gang-run printing method. Therefore, the accuracy of colour reproduction is NOT guaranteed as stipulated in our Colour Disclaimer (clause #6).
    2. Grabprinting cannot be held liable for colour variations between jobs printed in different batches at different ordering periods.
    3. Grabprinting does not warranty for the fidelity of the colours. The prints may exhibit varying intensity and colour hue, compared to the computer screen or proof, as well as with regards to reprints. Prints may present variation of hue and/or intensity within the same batch, which does not constitute a printing defect, or may present colour deviations compared to a different order. The tolerance limits in the trimming edges, cuts or folds, finished shapes for all products is of maximum 3mm variation.
    4. Orders can be printed with up to 10% variation in size.
    5. Base on term (5.c) we highly recommend customer not to do manuscript frame or border design, if customer insists to have this kind of design, Grabprinting will not take the responsibility to any complaints for asymmetric such as shifted or unbalanced.
    6. Printed surface dotted with dirt shall not be more than 1 dot per 5cm2 and the dot shall not be bigger than 0.3mm.
    7. For products with Spot UV, Emboss, Hot Stamping, Die Cut and other finishing except finishing, tolerance of registration is +-1mm. Customer may not reject order if Spot UV, Emboss, Hot Stamping, Die Cut and other finishing defects affect only 2% or below of the printed quantity per order.
    8. For products with folding or crease line, folding or crease line may have a difference of 1-3mm. Please make sure your content is 4mm away fold line or crease line.

  6. Colour Disclaimer
    1. In order to provide a cheaper end cost to our customers and a quicker turnaround of the printed matter, Grabprinting groups together CMYK work.
    2. This form of printing referred to as “gang-run printing” or “batch printing” is used for the printing of Grabprinting’s standard products, and marginal variations are to be expected from one print run to another.
    3. As such, while we take great effort to match colours as accurately as possible, we cannot be held liable for these marginal colour variations or inaccuracies in the printed matter which may be more evident in reprints
    4. A 100% exact colour match is not possible. The most accurate means of colour matching entails printing the job in isolation (entire-run print) as a stand alone job. This means of printing should be supported by contract proofing and will result in the print cost of the job being significantly greater.

  7. Privacy Policy
    1. We collect information to process your order, guide and enhance your online experience and to supply you with information in which you have expressed an interest.
    2. At any time you can edit your account details and email address.
    3. When you log in we collect name and address, telephone, email address, user name and password. This provides us with default details for your order processing and sets up security – so viewing of your account details, designs and order history is password protected.


    1. After having paid for the ordered products, the Contracting Party will no longer be able to withdraw from the purchase agreement, as the product is fully personalized and specially designed for him, which is the reason why, if the Contracting Party ever wants to withdraw from the purchase agreement, he will not receive any refund of the paid amount. If the production of the ordered products has not been initiated yet, remaining amount will be transfer to store credits

  9. Designer Recommendation
    1. Recommendation of art work designer is open to anyone whose doesn’t know to do artwork finishing.
    2. Grabprinting is not responsible on any deals between customers and designers as these designers does not work for Grabprinting

  10. Defects
    1. any faults, damages or mistake customer have to email to within 48 hours upon receiving
    2. any feedback or complaints after 48 hours, Grabprinting will not be able to do any re print or replace
    3. any re print is subject to approval from Grabprinting’s management

  11. Variations in quantity
    1. Every endeavour will be made to deliver the correct quantity ordered. However some variation is inherent in the print process and it is understood and accepted as reasonable that +/- 3-5% variations are immaterial and that Grabprinting shall have no liability in respect of such variations.
    2. Grabprinting advise customer to order slightly more than what you require if the quantity you require is very specific.

  12. Force majeure
    1. Grabprinting shall be under no liability if it shall be unable to perform any obligation which is owed by it to the customer for any reason beyond his control including (without limiting the foregoing) Act of God, legislation, war, fire, flood, drought, failure of power supply, lock-out, strike or other action taken by employees in contemplation or furtherance of a dispute or owing to any inability to procure materials required for the performance of the contract.
